Nurturing Creative Talent | Shelton College International Visits Sichuan Film & Television College

On 4 November 2025, a delegation from Shelton College International (SCI), Singapore, visited Sichuan Film & Television College to engage in in-depth discussions on potential collaborations in film, media, and creative arts education.

As Singapore’s only higher education institution specializing in media and the arts, SCI is committed to cultivating creative talent with a global perspective. During the visit, the delegation toured Sichuan Film & Television College’s live-action studios, broadcasting spaces, media laboratories, and state-of-the-art industry facilities, gaining a deep appreciation for the school’s solid professional foundation and the creativity displayed in student projects.

The SCI team also introduced the college community to Shelton’s programs, highlighting its expertise in film production, digital content creation, international pathways, and career development. Both sides explored potential future collaborations, including:

International short film co-productions and festival partnerships

Reciprocal study and hands-on workshops

Student and faculty work exhibitions and academic exchanges

Creative experimental courses and cross-institution project incubation

Student exchange programs and future international degree pathways

The visit strengthened mutual understanding and laid the foundation for more flexible, multi-layered international cooperation in film and media education.
